Quality Check
Adhering to Food Safety and Standards Authority of India regulations is mandatory in food packaging for sale in India and EXIM authority for exports. For tobacco products, rules and regulations laid by COTPA and Central Excise needs to be followed. We abide by the ISO certification standards as well in the following manner:-
- Use of hazard analysis and critical control points.
- Good Manufacturing Practices.
- An effective Quality Management System (QMS).
- Track and trace systems.
- Requirements for Label Content.
- Special food contact materials are used when the package is in direct contact with the food product along with processing equipments up to food grade standard.
- Depending on the packaging operation and the food, packaging and processing machinery often needs daily washed-down and cleaned as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Health risks of materials and chemicals used in food packaging are carefully controlled.
- Carcinogens, toxic chemicals, mutagens, etc. are eliminated from food and potential migration into foods.
- Tobacco items factory and food products factory are located at different premises to prevent migration of constituents into each other.
Quality check of mouth fresheners and pan masala is carried out through the nose and taste buds of our highly experienced and qualified testers that can replicate and understand the need of the consumers.
Our laboratories are equipped with UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, Refractometer (for instrument testing) and other sophisticated analytical instruments for development and quality testing.
